Well-Earned Respite to Enjoy the Season

Well, we’ve finally made it to the holiday season.

Just like you, I am taking a brief respite to spend some time with family and friends.  In your case, you earned it–all the time you spent working with your kids, appeasing administrators, attending all those endless meetings, and everything else that is demanded of you.

It’s time for that well-earned respite.

In my case, I’ve spent a lot of time over the past 12 months working hard on the four projects that I am most passionate about: maintaining my connection with professional teachers such as yourself, adding pages to Daily Teaching Tools.com, designing new products for The Teacher Market, and of course, putting up more posts here at The Teacher Beacon.

It’s time for a break.

This will be my last post until Tuesday, January 10, 2012.  At that point, I will resume writing a post each Tuesday and Friday as we hurtle into the new year.  Unless I change my mind, my next post will be Charter Schools are not the Solution.

In the meantime, pamper yourself, revel in your family and friends, stay safe, and enjoy this season of joy and giving.

Until we meet again,

Chad Manis
